Key Events for Reference
- Slot Historic List (SHL) Deadline: When coordinators must provide airlines with lists of historic slots at Level 3 airports.
- Confirmation of final coordination parameters: When airport operators must provide coordinators with the capacity parameters.
- Initial Submission Deadline: When airlines must provide coordinators with the requested slots.
- Slot Allocation List (SAL) Deadline: When coordinators must provide airlines with a list of allocated slots.
- IATA Slot Conferenc (SC): Held twice a year (June and November) to allow airlines and coordinators to work out issues in the scheduling and slot allocation.
- EUACA Schedules Optimisation Meeting (SOM): Held in January to give an extra opportunity for airlines and coordinators to work out remaining issues for the European summer season.
- Series Return Deadline (SRD): When airlines must return slots constituting a series that the airline do not intend to operate.
- Historics Baseline Date (HBD): On this date the slots held by airlines forms the basis for the 80/20 compliance monitoring.
- Start of Season: Summer season starts the last Sunday in March; Winter season starts the last Sunday in October.
